Former Employee - EIT says

"dependent on what department you hire into, lacks kind people who have confidence in themselves to not drag others down, sucks to be a new hire - non manager, dependent on work from superiors who hold this against you"

Current Employee - Quality Inspector says

"I am a Full Time employee of Jacobs, without of the advance notification , just a week in advance the Jacobs issued a Company Convenience Leave of absence letter to me for signing , it means that Company put me on employment with only 4 days of prior notification , I thought the Jacobs as Big and International Company , but when I face with this situation of this company it made me to feel very uncomfortable, it means the Jacobs does not think about Job security of employees they Just think about their benefits , I worked with very small companies before Jacobs, but I never face with the situation anywhere"

Former Employee - Vice President says

"Sends USA and UK work to Poland & India "Service" Centers to avoid native born pay/benefit demands. Typical corporate rah rah BS while no real internal transfer opportunity. Management consisting almost entirely of payola outcomes - phony bolognas!"

Current Employee - Mechanical Engineer says

"Took our amazing company (KeyW) and completely gutted our benefits, corporate culture, hiring structure, salary potential, and motivation to try our best everyday. I no longer brag about my job to my friends or talk about how great it is and that’s a pure shame. Very disappointed and will be looking elsewhere. Congrats to big wigs for moving in the direction of losing talented employees. I wish we were never acquired."

Current Employee - Director of Business Management says

"They are cheap! They cater to women and minorities. They cut 401K contributions and instead donate to radical movements. The insurance is awful!"

Former Employee - Client Account Manager says

"Company is very large and bureaucratic Leaders are unable to make timely decisions Company culture is very stale and does not promote solving problems 401K program is not competitive. I was at Jacobs for 15 months (plus 16 years previously at CH2M that was acquired by Jacobs) and was not eligible for any company match on my 401K contributions Annual leave is poor Does not recognize time spent at acquired companies Promotes itself as a digital company but does not embrace or invest in digital solutions for it’s clients Does not present career advancement opportunities for high performers and as such loses it’s best employees Employees cannot talk to HR about issues"

Current Employee - Heavy Diesel Mechanic says

"Wont spend money or tooling to accomplish job"

Former Employee - Help Desk Technician says

"Upper management is entirely clueless"

Former Employee - Senior Field Service Representative says

"backstabbing lying senior management. DO not trust HR either"

Former Employee - Senior Corporate Accountant says

"A typical work week expectation is 60-80 hours a week, which could span 7 days. There are no boundaries for personal time, either at or away from the office. Repeated mentions to leadership fell on deaf ears - the work is always paramount to anything else going on, no matter if it's a major family milestone, a vacation, or just about anything else. The workplace thrives on stress and in a highly unproductive manner; constant tension at all levels as everyone struggles to pivot to the next fire drill without ever completely solving the last one. Work piles up and no one seems to recognize this. On top of it all, there is always a real threat of downsizing and being laid-off, your job either outsourced offshore, replaced as a result of an acquisition, or simply eliminated to improve the bottom line."

Field Engineer (Former Employee) says

"This is the worst company I have ever worked for. I will never work for Jacob's again. It is a government contract and they do everything possible to undermine the Government personnel and cause conflicts. They thrive on drama. NonHealthcare"

Safety Manager (Former Employee) says

"Jacobs basically torpedoed the company I worked for. They then attempted to lower wages with no explanation. The management stated that they wanted an inclusive atmosphere, wanting to utilize our safety professionals experience. Then slowly let go of key personnel.NoneEverything about the company"

Director (Former Employee) says

"long work hours, unreliable systems, high turn over, favoritism, heavy use of temps - basically this place is a nightmare. They're very friendly during the interview but once you're in you see a whole different side of management."

HVAC Technician (Current Employee) says

"Jacobs talks about team and culture of caring, but these are just words they use behind closed doors in meetings. The only team and culture is the one who is in charge. They would rather overwork current employees than rehire or bring in new ones so their bottom line looks good at end of year."

Other (Former Employee) says

"This company sucks, The pay is horrible and its all about the upper management getting a monthly bonus at the end of the month, They have taken pay away from most of the people, workers feel unfairly treated. Do not trust anyone who you think may be your friend, because they are not, the Department of Labor should be called on this company for Labor laws. As for benefits, they are a joke.NoneAll of it"

rotating equipment (Current Employee) says

"great place to work and need to fill out this form. I do not want to say anything else. Just compete the form. and too bad about the multiple characters."

"Coming in as a new employee we are told to share your ideas. Everyone wants to collaborate and be innovative here. WRONG! I literally got in trouble for bringing ideas to the table. Traffic Engineer (Current Employee) says

"Its such a political place where there is race preference. If you family works there then it is very easy for you. But when you are a qualified individual, people under you make working miserable because they have reach to the top."

Janitor (Former Employee) says

"As a Government contractor, you are totaly unprotected by any laws governing the workplace...The "least cost vendor" wins the contract and then makes up the difference by pocketing your hard earned salary and benefits. Being a government contractor should not be a long term career choice for the above multiple reasons."

Driver (Current Employee) says

"It’s a great company The people leading it needs to learn professionalism Treat ALL drivers the same Only select few are treated with respect Upper management is defiant Lack of communication between everyone including upper management clear down to drivers"

Data entry and/or database maintenance (Former Employee) says

"They dont have direction after bought over companies and end up offer vss to the staff. A lot high lever ranking compare to those lower ranks and the higher ranking doing nothing and the staff have to be dismissed"

Senior Consultant (Former Employee) says

"Not sure about other Jacobs' sites, but the area i worked at is simply not recommended. No appreciation in whatever one does. Employees forced to do what they don't want. E.g. Relocation, Job allocation etc Inconsiderate style of management. Everyone set to failure."

System Administrator Associate (Former Employee) says

"We were hired onto the Jacobs Electronic Proving Grounds (EPG) contract when the EPG contract was transferred from ManTech. The transfer took place during an Network Integration Event and was handled remotely. Once the event was concluded and we returned to home station (JBLM) and all of the travel expenses were completed we were place on Company Convenience Leave (CCL) for thirty days and then were laid off. During the CCL we were not paid and but were still required to pay for benefits."

Electrial Engr. (Former Employee) says

"TheJacobs CH2M acquisition sent employees scurrying like rats from a sinking ship. Jacobs brought in their own mgmt. when CH2M mgmt. left the project. They have no experience in this industry and no access to tool folders when they began stamping designs. They have no idea of what they are stamping and that's a fundamental ethics violation."

Structural Engineer III (Former Employee) says

"Structural group (bridge) has minimal competitiveness against other consulting groups in the Boston area. Consistent minimal work load. Structural bridge engineering team has little exposure to complex work and struggle to win projects."

Project Controls Consultant (Current Employee) says

"The company only cares about making more money and no concern about the employees. Training is non existent no bonuses raises minimal . Just a job not a career."

Executive Real Estate/ Construction Director (Current Employee) says

"No life work balance . Meeting takes all day long and poor planning and no job security with jacobs. Now Jacobs is getting worse with the new management"

Gurvinder Nahal says

"Very Bad experience with Derek Shaw I paid him more then $2000 Dollars Still my score poor condition Very bad service"

Tonya Smith says

"I did a ton of research before going with White Jacobs. I really felt like they would be able to do like they assured me they would. I worked with Doug Taylor and he told me my credit file was nothing out of the ordinary and we should have no problems getting great results. It took some time but he was able to get some things removed, I was able to purchase a car, but soon after - several of the deleted collections reappeared on my reports to drop my scores even lower than they were when I hired them. I left a review on the BBB asking for a refund or partial and was told it was my fault for having high credit card balances. My CC's are paid off and have been for 2 months. My scores are still in the mid 400's. It's embarrassing. Lack of communication from Doug became very frustrating towards the end. I had to message them on Facebook to have him return my calls or emails. I know people have had great results with them. For whatever reason my deletions have reappeared and they wont help after 6 months. I offered to continue paying as long as it takes. At this point - they should refund my money. I've been pretty quiet hoping for someone to reach out and do the right thing but this is the first of many reviews. White Jacobs - do the right thing. My credit is complete and utter garbage. They will only respond with how they were able to get many deletions but don't address it when they reappear and drop your scores even further than before. Sad."
